“A little lilting music and the chink of ice, new faces, smiles all along, resounding laughter- yes it was party time!”
Continuing with the proud tradition of the college, senior students and newcomers of the college mingled with each other at the Freshers’ welcome party Organized on 6th October, 2018. The purpose of this event is that every “Fresher” of ACE feels as an integral part of ACE family. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the students. With pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot tapping music, the party began with a blast. It was a fun filled event at which the freshers had an opportunity not only to showcase their talents and but also to interact with the seniors. Soon after the inauguration, the programs kick-started with a ramp walk in which many contestants vied for the Ms. Fresher & Mr. Fresher 2018.
The contest included several rounds consisting of singing, dancing, talent display, dress parade and the like, which wove the magic of fun and joy in the event. In the last and final “Questionnaire Round”, the contestants had to prove that they were persons with beauty and brains, having presence of mind and confidence & not only to give the correct answers but also to communicate these properly and effectively.
At the end of the very enjoyable competition, Ms. Diksha Koul (BT) & Mr. Harsh Gaur (CSE) were selected as Miss. & Mr. Fresher 2018 respectively. After the competition, it was for the freshers and seniors to rock the party with dancing and grooving. Finally the program ended, leaving behind sweet memories that will be cherished lifelong.
