With an aim to create awareness about latest technologies among our students and make them industry ready, the Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research Alumni Association organized an interactive session on “Revolutionizing Technologies for a Better World” on May 18, 2022. The interactive session was conducted by Mr. Paresh Patel, advisor of ACE, and President and CEO of System Level Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd (SLS). The event started with a formal introduction of the Mr. Paresh Patel by Er.Vijay Kumar Anand, General Secretary, Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research Alumni Association.
In this session, Mr. Paresh Patel covered the various domains in which SLS is working and delivering the best products and services at a reasonable cost. He told that Nebulae division of SLS focuses on simplifying the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. It is a full-stack IoT integration platform that drives a digital transformation and enables IoT developers to develop their solution for delivering the business logic. He said that the VerdeMobility division of SLS focuses on smart solutions in Electric Vehicles’ (EV) emerging market. Their EV solutions help to create the most innovative and affordable range of products – maximizing ROI and efficiency. SLS ‘Yalgaar’ is a real-time messaging framework that offers highly scalable pub/sub message infrastructure on cloud. Through it, a user can broadcast messages to millions of users, reliably and securely for mobile, web and IoT devices. He told that SLS Energy provides innovative solutions from portable energy products to large-scale energy supply systems in the solar energy sector to solve intractable energy problems. He told about ViaLights which provides solutions for existing outdoor lighting by integration into the IoT Gateway for smart control and monitoring. During the lecture, he presented a video on use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect different types of lungs diseases.
At the end of his lecture, Mr. Paresh Patel advised students to make full utilization of Entrepreneurship Promotion and Incubation Council (EPIC) facilities such as SMT line, 3-D Printing, and Semiconductor Processing to upgrade their skills and knowledge as per industry requirements. He also added that patience is the key to success in life. He asked students to inculcate a habit of questioning at each and every point while learning new skills and understanding the fundamentals.
After his session, Dr. Ashawant Gupta, Director ACE, shared some inspirational memories with Mr. Parsh Patel when he was pursuing Master’s at Santa Clara University, USA. Dr. Gupta said that the extreme hard work, patience and perseverance of Mr. Paresh Patel led SLS to the greatest height of success today. He said that despite completing his complete education from the USA he established SLS in India also. Because Mr. Paresh was very much sure that India is going to change and he wanted to become the part of that change. In the end, Dr. Gupta thanked Mr. Paresh Patel for conducting this resourceful session.
The session was attended by fifty six students of different branches. Students raised many doubts and queries during the session which were promptly answered by Mr. Paresh Patel. The whole event was very energetic and successful.
After this interactive session Dr. Ashawant Gupta, Sh. Ramakant, CEO EPIC, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Dean Academics and Sh. Ajay Pal Singh, Training and Placement Officer felicitated Mr. Paresh Patel with a token of remembrance. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Er. Seema Rani, Joint Secretary, Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research Alumni Association.
