One-day trekking event was organized by the Adventure Club of Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research (ACE) to “Morni Hills” on 27th March 2022. The trekking was completed under the guidance of Dr. Ashawant Gupta, Director of the College. The contingent had 91 members (85 students and 6 staff members). The team departed from the ACE campus at 8:00 AM and reached the destination at 12:00 Noon. The team started trekking from Morni Village and covered a distance of about 10 km. First the team travelled down the hill and spent about 2 hours in the waters of Ghagghar River in the valley. After that the team returned back to Morni Village. While returning, the team members also collected the waste material keeping in mind the spirit of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
